Hypselobarbus thomassi

Hypselobarbus thomassi is a popular variety that has recently received a great deal of attention. Even during its juvenile stage, the fins along its lower body display a bright orange-red colour. As it grows and matures, the entire body gradually transforms into a unique and rich purple-red colour. Fully coloured adults are extremely rare. Their dreamlike colour and uncommon adult appearance give them outstanding ornamental and collectible value.
